Launceston

Introduction of Launceston

Launceston is the northern port city of Tasmania, about 200km from Horbart, the capital of Tasmania. It is the second largest city in Tasmania.

Launceston is a city with a long history. The Tamar River (River Tamar) passes through the city and flows all the way north into the Strait of Bath (Bass Strait).. The elegant Edward and Victorian buildings on the city's streets, surrounded by parks and gardens for a hundred years, offer interesting comparisons with restaurants and cafes and vibrant areas such as Launceston Harbour.

Take a plank road from the port of Launceston to (Inveresk Cultural Centre), the Yinfresk Cultural Center, where you can see (QVMAG)., one of Australia's best local art galleries, the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Museum. The city was founded in 1806 at the mouth of Tamar Valley, once the wheat and wool trade center of Tamar Province. As time goes by, with the growth of wealth, it has developed into a very large city.
