Ipswich

Introduction of Ipswich

Ipswich is a small city on the southwest outskirts of Brisbane, Queensland. It is about 40 kilometers from Brisbane and has a resident population of about 200000.

As one of the satellite cities in Brisbane, Ipswich has a life pattern similar to that of Brisbane. Due to population growth, the suburbs of the city overlap with Brisbane year by year, which is often classified as the "Greater Brisbane (Great Brisbane)" metropolitan area.

As the birthplace of Queensland Railway, Ipswich has a proud and vivid history, but from track back to the 1820s, criminals and colonialism prevailed. Ipswich's unique urban charm has absolute attraction, with its broad green space, unique historical buildings and increasingly international dining places, attracting tourists from all over the world.

Brisbane Street, located in the heart of the city, has the longest-of-the-art heritage of Australia, where the Old Mill's old building, built in 1902, is now being transformed into a quaint coffee shop with antiques and collectibles.
