Among these areas, the number of people who have been awarded the Medal by virtue of the outstanding performance and contribution of community work remains the largest, with a total of 375, or about 45 per cent of the number of people who have been awarded the Medal, followed by the field of medicine, with a total of 63 winners. Women have more winners than men in the four fields of art, disability, library and related professions and religion, and the number of winners in the fields of architecture and dentistry is equal to that of men.

Of all the honours, the oldest is now 97, while the youngest is only 19. A total of 1190 Australians have been nominated for the Order of Australia, with 837 winners, or 70.3 per cent overall, down from 73.9 per cent on National Day last year.

The Governor said:" Today, these recognized people are undoubtedly the best and the best example of Australia at the moment. They are dedicated, committed and selfless to the community and I congratulate them on their achievements. There is a story behind each winner. Some of them are selflessly dedicated, others have made personal sacrifices, others have made significant achievements, and they are all helping others to make our cities, communities and even the country as a whole better. "

"They stand out from the crowd, but they are also ordinary people," he said. The most encouraging thing is that we know people like them in our lives, people who are recognized today and contribute to our society, big and small, and we have seen a lot of such examples in the rescue of the Australian forest fire. These outstanding Aussies are the epitome of Australia. "

"There are 41 per cent of women in Australia, but they can be more," he said. During my tenure as Governor of Australia, I wanted more outstanding Australians from all backgrounds to be nominated. "

The Governor concludes:" Anyone can be nominated for an Australian Medal, so if you know someone who thinks they are eligible for the award, I encourage you to take them into account. "

In this long list of honors released today, we can still see the presence of many Chinese who are a well-deserved light of the Chinese community. A number of AM and OAM honours have come from all parts of Australia. They have all been successful in their respective fields. Some have done their utmost for charity, some have contributed to the Chinese community, some have done their utmost for younger generations, and others have worked in their fields for decades. Although the reasons for the award vary, they all deserve to be the most outstanding Chinese representative in Australia.
